Oradica follows the story of two energetic artists James Alexander McKenzie and Dan O’Dempsey who have found themselves on Orkney for two months. During their time in this rugged landscape they pursue their artistic practice and collaborate on a three-act experimental play titled ‘Fenris Wolf and Ragnar Thorfinn’ which they perform to the bewildered local residents of Stromness. Through this play McKenzie and O’Dempsey engage deeply with the rich history of the islands and reflect on their own philosophies as a result.
